and non-experienced fish processors. Jobs are available on Floaters
or on Shore Canneries. Room & Board.Transportation provided
from Seattle to Alaska. Paid hourly wages + over time. Salaries
range from $2900 to $4600/month depending if you are at sea
or on shore. Mention your preference for inland or off-shore
jobs. Positions are continuously being filled. |

You
can also be placed on a Crabber Processor.. Long periods of
time at sea, usually 3 or 4 months contracts. Airfare, room
& board provided. US candidates only. Salaries will range
from $3200 to $5000/month. Positions continuously opened. |

NOTES ABOUT THESE POSITIONS: |

In
order to work as a fish processor, no experience is necessary.
Many companies accept non experienced people on board Floating
Processors and in Shore Based Canneries.
Transportation is generally provided from point of hire (Seattle,
WA) to Alaska, however you must pay for your own transportation
to Seattle. (some companies do pay for Airfare also, see with
our agent) Room and board is provided on the jobsite.
Contracts may vary with each employer and season. Your designated
agent will furnish you with all the details. In general, contracts
range from 2-6 months and are renewable. Earnings for processors
reach $4800/month and more if at sea. Salaries for processors
aboard specialized vessels go as high as $5500/month. Additionally,
most companies offer a % bonus based on the production.
It
should be understood that these jobs are physical and require
good health and determination. Adequate rain gear, warm clothing
and boots will be indispensable. |
